West Windsor, N.J. -- Growing up Catholic in Dublin and London during the 1970s and 1980s, Mercer County Community College Assistant Professor Padhraig Higgins, of Philadelphia, was well aware of the bombings, hunger strikes and armed militants in Northern Ireland as a result of Protestant vs. Catholic sectarian strife. He vividly recalls the Irish Republican Army's bombing campaign in England. This time of heightened political factionalism fueled his intense interest in Irish history, self-identity and politics, he says.

How many of the stories about Jesus are historical? Which of the sayings attributed to him might he actually have said?

These are the questions the scholars of the Jesus Seminar attempt to answer. For those who are interested in historical evidence about Jesus, Peter, Mary Magdalene and Paul, the upcoming Jesus Seminar On the Road is the place to be.

Peter, Paul, and Mary: Three Early Christian Voices will be taking place at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Princeton on March 12-13, 2010.
