In mid-July, 33 members and friends of Hopewell Presbyterian Church journeyed to western Maryland for their annual Church Mission Trip. The group consisted of 17 adults and 14 teenagers. During the five days in Cumberland, MD, a town nestled in the Appalachians, the group worked for an organization called NAILS at six different homes, painting, repairing and replacing roofs/porches, etc. The trip was made possible through personal donations as well as financial assistance from the Church’s Outreach Ministry. This is the Church’s eighth year to sponsor an intergenerational Mission Trip.
