
The Most Reverend Bishop David O’Connell will celebrate the Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2011 of Villa Victoria Academy at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, in the Villa Victoria Theatre.
In addition to parents, friends and school officials, Bishop O’Connell will address 17 graduating seniors, all of whom will be attending colleges such as Carnegie Mellon School of Music, Duke University, Drexel University and Wake Forest in the Fall.
Immediately following the Baccalaureate Mass will be the Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2011. Savannah Jones of Lawrenceville, NJ has earned the distinction of Valedictorian of her class and Megan Cloughley of Yardley, PA is the Salutatorian. Savannah will attend New York University’s Tisch School of Arts and Megan will attend Drexel University in September.
The Class of 2011 has earned more than $85,000 per student in scholarships to post-secondary education.
