The Arc Mercer’s annual Walkathon and Community Celebration will take place on Saturday, May 22, at 9 a.m. at Veteran’s Park in Hamilton. This year’s event aims to raise funds to benefit individuals with developmental disabilities.

During the celebration, a deejay will be on-hand to provide music and, after the walk, attendees will have the chance to participate in a variety of games. Participants will also be treated to a continental breakfast and BBQ lunch, which will be donated and prepared by members of the Mason Mercer Lodge 50. To add some extra fun, the Arc Mercer is also encouraging mascots from local schools, businesses and sports teams to attend.

The one mile Walkathon will begin at the South Entrance of Veteran’s Park off of Kuser Road in Hamilton. For more information, please contact Steve Cook at (609) 915-4149.
