Hamilton Pop Warner Football is active this off-season, having recently overhauled their Web site, hpwf.net, enabling online registrations, announcing their on-site registration dates, as well as other numerous initiatives to improve the their program.

At the end of the season, a new Board of Directors was elected, infusing the league with younger, more technology-savvy officers in an attempt to bring the league into a more accessible era by making things easier for the league and parents to communicate and in turn providing a better experience for the players and cheerleaders.

2010 registrations for children ages 5 to 15 years interested in playing football or cheerleading will take place in the basement of the Hamilton Free Public Library on March 1, 15, 29 and April 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Registration fees for those who register through April 5 are $65, for those who register between April 6 and May 31 are $80 and those registering after June 1 will pay $95. Registering with a buddy will take $5 off each player’s registration price.

Upon registration, present a copy of the participant’s birth certificate, latest report card, Hamilton Township proof of residency.

The player and a parent/guardian must be present. Fundraiser obligation will be discussed at registration.

Registration will be a on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no try-outs. Teams will be limited to the first 35 players. If you are playing or cheering for your high school or another football league, you are not eligible to register with Pop Warner.

Coaching positions are available.

All divisions are separated by age, weight, and high school to be attended by player or cheerleader. Weight classes are subject to number registered.

For more information about player registrations, E-mail HPWFL player agent, Ryan Lederman at playeragent@hpwf.net or call (561) 702-5676.
