Mercer County held its annual Fourth of July celebration, the Freedom Festival on Saturday, June 27, 2009.
Present were a variety of local vendors and businesses that set up tents in which those who attended could visit for information, to buy products, and even to just stop by and say hello.
The large selection of musical performances started at 3 p.m. and played their way into the night, which drew up quite a crowd.
Children and families were given the always popular and ever fun option of playing on large, inflatable bounce houses, water slides, and moonwalks.
Other activities included rock climbing, arts and crafts, and a petting zoo. The celebration said its goodbyes with a fireworks display that wowed onlookers and kick started the celebrations for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday.
