Mercer County

June 27 - 3 to 11 p.m.
Freedom Festival is the earliest Fourth of July celebration in the area! Performances by Princeton School of Rock, Split Decision, the Amish Outlaws and The Dawgs. Food, rides, crafts and games, and a fireworks display at nightfall—all free of charge. New this year: laser tag and a quoits pit. >> See the photo slideshow from this year's Freedom Fest.

Princeton

July 2 - 7 p.m.
Fireworks after 9 p.m. Best viewed from Princeton University sports field next to the University Stadium. No alcohol.

Hamilton

July 2 - 6:30 p.m. (rain date July 6)
Use south entrance of Veterans Park. Musical performance by The Nerds, fireworks at 9 p.m. >> Read more about this event.

Ewing

July 3 - 7 p.m.
Concert and fireworks after dark at Armstrong Park. Bring blankets and beach chairs!

July 4 - 10 a.m.
Parade begins at Moody Park, runs from Parkside Ave. and Parkway Ave. to Ewing High School.

Trenton

July 4 - 7:05 p.m.
Trenton Thunder takes on New Britain Rockcats at Waterfront Park. Fireworks display after game.

Lawrence

July 4 - 7 p.m.
Music from the National Guard and Kindred Spirit followed by fireworks at 9:45 p.m., Rider University.
