Sanjay Ramchandani, MD, of Hamilton, is the newest physician to join RWJ OB/GYN Group and the delivery team at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (RWJ Hamilton).

Dr. Ramchandani is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Rutgers University - graduating with high honors – and his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey -Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

He completed his residency in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia where he studied under nationally recognized authorities and received several awards for excellence in teaching and research. Dr. Ramchandani is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate medical care to women of all ages.

Dr. Ramchandani’s clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery and vaginal surgery, contraceptive management, management of abnormal bleeding, treatments of fibroids and abnormal PAP exams.

Since its inception more than 15 years ago, RWJ OB/GYN Group has grown to become the largest of its kind in Greater Mercer County, providing women from adolescent to adulthood with high quality, personalized health care. The addition of Dr. Ramchandani expands the practice’s provider list to seven physicians and six certified nurse-midwives.
