The Garden Gate Garden Club of Lawrenceville invites area residents to the Monday, January 18, 2010 program. The speaker, Teresa Knipper, will discuss how to fit native plants into your own landscape. She has been gardening for butterflies for over 10 years and brings a wealth of personal knowledge and enthusiasm to her presentation. Ms. Knipper uses her own plant and butterfly pictures to convey planting advice and tips on just how to get these “wild plants” to behave in your landscape. She is a Mercer County Master Gardener and a naturalist at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve.
The program begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, 1039 Lawrence Road. Parking is at the rear of the building; the entrance on the side of the building. Refreshments will be served.
